Default 2006 civic rear tire premature wear

Is there any fix or course of action for premature wear of rear tires on a 2006 civic. The car has 27000 miles and the tires should not be already worn as they are. Car has a lot of road noise associated with this problem. Dealer wants me to buy new tires. Why should I if they are going to be worn out in such a short time. I normally get at least 50000 miles out of the 1st set of tires on a new car. Anyone else having this problem?

Angry Re: 2006 civic rear tire premature wear

I too have a 2006 civic that the tires wore out at 20,000 miles. dealer told me to call and take it up with Bridgestone, needless to say they did not want to help me and I had to replace them myself. Honda seems to be no help when it comes to honoring warranty. Hope you have better luck than I did.
