Honda Civics have had an excellent reliability record for years.

I always see Hondas with busted wheels, waiting to be towed off. I'm not talking about the wheel itself, but rather a problem with the axle. That seems to be a huge problem, don't know why.Between the Japanese cars, Toyotas seem the most reliable at the moment.

Sure, IF you like paying $1000 to change the timing belt every 50,000 miles!AND if you like having it stolen every year, so the ricers can strip it for parts.

I have owned several Honda Civics and have been extremely happy every time. The last one I owned was a '99 or '00 model. Now that there is a hybrid version of the civic that is rated at 49 MPG I would seriously consider getting one of these for my next car.

yes, there reliable. have good gas mileage. but you'd be better off with the si if you know how to drive stick. on the other hand, there are better cars than the civic and cheaper ones too. plus hondas are everywhere now, so get a different car if you don't want to be compared by everybody else

Yep!!!...they make them in just about every country in the world...Honda(Acura in USA) Civic/Accord and Toyota Corolla are about the most reliable 'everyday'vehicles we have?...
