Default Overheating 92 Accord dx

I have a 1992 Accord that is having a overheating problem. I checked to see if it was the head gasket, but no oil in the antifreeze and no foam in the oil. I replaced the thermostat, and the water pump was replaced at 120,000 miles. I have noticed that the radiator fan only comes on after I turn the car off. If I start it, the fan will go off. Could it be a bad switch? Thanks, Bryan
