I 'd rather spend money on fried ice cream than insurance. Get the Accord.

Get the Accord. It has a better ride and more room. I have actually test drove a Civic and Accord and I bought the Accord.

It is your decision. Just take in to account all of the factors and where you expect to be in 3 yrs and which car best suits you. Either car is a win win situation.

Get the Civic unless you really need the room in the Accord. Both are pretty vehicles, but you will get better mileage in the Civic and I am guessing the difference in insurance is minimal. Also, regarding the lease, see what it will cost with no money down. If you have good credit, you don't want to put money down on a lease because you will never get it back. Ask them for the 'sign and drive' lease price. A good rule of thumb for a lease is about $150 payment for every $10,000 the car is. Therefore, you should negotiate getting the Civic for $229 per month with no money down or about $289 per month for the Accord with no money down.
