how do I install a power steering pressure line on a 1990 hinda prelude si 2056 cc engine?

the pressure line is the one on the top rear of the pump that is held down by the bolt. there is a o-ring under the hose flange where it mates to the pump body. remove the bolt from the flange and that will free the upper end of the hose.the lower end of the hose is on the rack and pinion valve assembly. you'll need a flare nut wrench to remove the fitting on the gear. Its pretty easy to get to if you have a lift. The steering rack is behind the engine mounted to the engine wall. just follow the hose down from the pump to the steering gear so that you disconnect the right hose. it might get messy if you try to do this from under the car but it can be done by jacking up the front end.you'll need to get the replacement hose from a Honda dealer.If the hose is just leaking at the top there's a good chance it is the o-ring and not the hose. install the new hose on the steering gear with the flare nut wrench then on the pump.bleed out the air from the system after refilling the reservoir by running the engine and then turning the steering wheel full left, holding it at the lock for 5 seconds, turning the wheel full right, holding it at the lock for 5 seconds and then repeating for 2 more cylcleshope that helps

Hopeful you mean to say Honda, not Hinda. Anyways, Honda Prelude si 2056 easy install power steering pressure line no problem. It Honda and that what do matter. Honda Prelude one of best car out there. They for sure do last forever. Honda do rock!!!!!
