your accord has a 2.2lthe 98 has a 2.3 literthats a pretty big difference big difference, i doubt itbut since you didnt say which model accords you were talking about its hard to say, because they go up to a 3.0 liter v6

There was never a DOHC motor available in the 98 accord. The motor you are referring to is the H22 which was available in the Prelude. The motor will fit and needs little fabrication. Because it is obd2 you will need to convert the motor to obd1 or convert your engine wiring to obd2. Either way you will need to research everything you will need to do to complete the swap.
