Default TPS code PO122

I have a 2004 CRV with 73000 miles. I am the original owner. It has been idling a bit rough and the check engine light came on last night. I took it to my local mechanic (Firestone) and they told me the TPS throttle body needed replacing. It had an error code of PO122. I do a lot of business with this shop and they showed me a message on the computer stating that Honda has a good will program concerning this part and might pay for part of the cost of replacement. I went to the dealership where I purchased the car and until recently took it for all its servicing. They wouldnt really discuss the goodwill program until they diagnosed the car. I made an appointment for them to look at the car tomorrow morning. Any advice? I understand Honda is having trouble with this type of TPS.

Jim
