2000 Honda Civic Speaker Problems (Fronts)
Hi I bought a 2000 Honda Civic DX from a dealer a few months ago and I have a couple questions on this vehicle. I am trying to install some aftermarket 6.5" speakers into my front doors and I started with the passenger door first it has a plug in type connection I couldnt get the one end off so I cut the wires and tried installing pos and neg, Do I need that plug to be connected for me to use my speakers or should it be working that way? I have a kenwood cd player thats newer then the car and I dont think I blew any channels on it so I am confused. Also my third brake light (the one in the middle) it blinks 5 or 6 times before it stays lit up. When I was trying to get a replacement bulb the guy in the store said that is not normal, Should I worry? I do have aftermarket tail lights but my middle brake one is regular and I prefer it to stay like it is.
Just to clarify the stock speakers that came with the car are Pioneer TS-06198zh 4 Ohm 15 Watts
Replacing them with some 6.5" Lowrider Brand Speakers supposedly 18 watts
