Default 2007 Honda Civic Alloy Wheels?

I have a few questions about alloy wheels. 1st besides the look factor what other benefits does the alloy wheels have over the standard wheels? And 2nd should I look to buy these from someone other then my dealer, or could I talk my dealer into matching the best price?

You can get them stock on the EX and Si, but you will pay a pretty penny to get them on an LX or below. Even if you shop around, you wont find them for much less than $800. There are a couple online stores that carry them for cheaper than most every dealer.http://www.collegehillshonda.com/hon...heels.htmThose are pretty much the best prices you will find on alloy wheels. The only advantages to alloy, besides look, are durability and weight.Alloy will not bend or get flat spots as easily as a steel wheel. It also weighs less, which reduces your sprung weight and increases gas mileage slightly.

Watch what you buy! I bought 4 for an Accord one time and the only way they would balance is when then were dynamically balanced ON THE CAR. I was taken on that one, would never try it again unless they came from a dealer...
