2001 Civic Si-G - Passenger Door Lock Not Working
Not sure if this is Honda related or just remote car starter related. In any case, if you have any ideas please let me know.
I have a 2001 Civic Si-G and had a Nustart Nu1000R remote starter installed by a "qualified technican". When installing the starter, he also hooked up the remote door locks. The drivers side works fine, but the passenger door will not lock/unlock using the remote or the switch on the driver's door. When either are triggered, there is a noise coming from inside the door which sounds like the motor trying to lock the door. The technician says that it's a problem with the motor and nothing to do with the install of the auto door locks. Sounds a little too coincidental to me. We never had any problem with the door locks prior to this install. Any ideas would be appreciated.
