I'm trying to replace the stock headlights on a 2001 Honda Accord with HID lights. What head light bulbs are the stock ones? I've gotten a couple different answers, H4 and 9005 or 9006. I'm not sure what is the correct one. Does anyone know what they are?Also if there is a good guide on how to install HID lights on car would be helpful as well.

These are Sylvania Halogen Bulbs..9005CB Headlamp: High Beam; Cool Blue Halogen Upgrade9006CB Headlamp: Low Beam; Cool Blue Halogen Upgrade

Sylvania has a excellent replacement guide on their website: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...uide/Following the guide, you should end up with 9006 for low beam and 9005 for high beam. The other info is if you want to replace with Osram/Sylvania's bulbs.Whoever gave you the H4 answer might have been mixed up with the Civic 01, which uses that size.I don't personally don't advise anyone to buy a Plug-and-Play HID kit for a headlight that's designed for halogen. Most of the time you'll be getting a lot of glare and blinding other drivers. But other than that, the install should be pretty easy...plug ballast into stock wiring and bulb into the ballast. And then stick the bulb into the headlight housing.
