Default Hamp oil filters what is the difference between the H1540-PLC-505 and the H1540-RTA-505?

are they equivalents? Which 1 would you recommend for a 1994 B16a? and Can you run synthetic oil in them?

H1540-PLC-505 are made by an affiliate of Toyo Roki in the USA called Filtech which happen to be the pre 2007 version.H1540-RTA-505 is made by Toyo Roki and are usually exclusive only to Japan. Both are nearly identical and much better than Rebranded Honda Fram Filters. And I believe Spoon uses them on all of there cars. But it is not necessary to use HAMP filters as they are the same Toyo Roki Blue Honda filters you see @ the stealership.
