Default honda civic newbie?

hi im new to cars in general and i know nothing of them, i have a 2002 civic LX and im curious to know where i can find a guide to the engine so i can learn the basics to maintain and keep it running in good shape. I asked my dad to show me the engine basics but he isn't familiar with foreign cars haha. Thanks so much!

go to ebay. type 2002 Honda civic SERVICE manual. that is my best advice, you won't find much information online in good detail like the honda shop manual.

Hondas will last you foreverrrr.the only thing you have to do is give it an oil changeevery 3000 miles and a tune up every year.you can purchase a manual at an auto placelike autozone.. it'll tell you everything you need to knowfrom engines to lights, bumpers, electricity wire etc..
