connecting obd2 to my car I have P1337 and P0505 errors, the first one is due to CSF sensor no signal and the second one is idle air control system, BUT i have no clue what to do and which sensor is faulty. could any body help me please?

the idle air control valve is the cause of the P0505 code. the valve varies the engine idle speed according to a command from the powertrain control module. when the idle cannot be controlled within the speed parameters its judged to be faulty by the computer. the usual cause of a failure of the iac valve is a build-up of carbon inside the valve that restricts the airflow through the passages. you can try to take the valve off and clean it with carburetor cleaner/throttle body cleaner but usually you have to replace the idle air control valve.the p1337 is for a loss of a signal from the misfire rpm sensor. the powertrain control module uses this signal to determine abnormal fluctuations in crankshaft speed that could be caused by a misfire. an abnormal rpm from an idle air control valve could cause the sensor to send an erratic signal. If your engine idle is erratic it will can cause this code. I would replace the IAC valve then clear the codes. chances are the P1337 won't come back.Hope that answers your question
