ok i just did a series of shit to my 94 civic, i replaced the timing belt, water pump, radiator, spark plug wires, thermostat and after all that the car started but i heard a valve tap. so i took the valve cover back off and adjusted the valves just alil bit to tighten them, put everything back together and went to start it and nothing all i hear is the starter rotating the engine. took the valve cover off to see if i might have bent a valve and i saw the valves were moving like they would normally(had a friend start the car while i was lookin). so any ideas on what i missed or if i messed my car up would be helpful.......

When adjusting the valves did you put each cylinder to tdc befor adjusting them,or did you just go down the line and tighten them a bit.
