I have a 2006 Honda Civic with 18" wheels I wanna know if I can go bigger to a more common size like 19 or 20"

19 and 20 are not more common, they're more stupid. 18 is overkill and more than your car even needs. Going to a larger wheel and tire size will only hurt your braking, accelaration, and make you look like a bloody hoon ricer boy.

The biggest size rim I'd put on a Civic would be 17", they are not designed to fit anything much bigger than stock without sacrificing ride quality. 18",19" and 20" rims will mess up your suspension, braking, odometer/ speedometer, and overall ride quality. I have 18" rims on my Accord, I can definitely tell the difference with ride quality from bigger rims. If you get some 17" rims and maybe lower you car, it should look really nice!!

The biggest rims you would want to put on an 06 Civic, if it isnt lowered, is 19s with a mild offset and lower profile tires to prevent rubbing. If you go to www.8thcivic.com, they can give you all of the different size and offset options available for an 06 Civic.
