Default 02 crv clicking on acceleration
My crv started clicking when accelerating, doesnt do it gliding, or with wheels turned any certain direction but always when accelerating. put car on jack stands and could not duplicate,sounds like driver side front,when it does happen. Shook wheel assy and push/pulled on axle shaft,all tight.

Could be a bad CV joint. Have a mechanic inspect the boot and axle.

After further inspection ,Found exhaust manifold connection heat shield laying near forward ujoint of pilot shaft,also found r/h stabilizer link popped off and both ball joint boots worn. Looks like I got some maintenance to do. Unfortunetly I have to drive to ST. Louis this week end from Buffalo. I will replace stab links and order ball joints,and I have removed broken heatshield.
