Either way you will (or should) upgrade the pistons and push rods too. Without upgrading the pistons you risk blowing your engine.===Usually turbos are smaller and most street rodders seems to choose these. But Supercharger doesn't use hot exhaust gas (so not so prone to heat failure).Good Luck.

Depends. For the most part, big turbos will have a lot of turbo lag and will decrease the life of your engine (if you don't do everything right and run at low psi). However, turbos can usually produce more power, are cheaper (don't quote me on this, it largely depends on the company, size, etc...) because there is a larger selection and sometimes (again don't quote me on this) easier and cheaper to install, however, both need to be installed by professionals. On the other hand, superchargers are generally more expensive, more labor intensive in regards to the install, and produce less horsepower gains, however, they are much more dependable and sound amazing. They also have a smoother power curve as opposed to the turbos. In summary, if it was my car, I would supercharge it.

turbo. Hondas already are made for topend. there is no bottom. Now if you were asking "How can I make my Honda jump" it would have been supercharger. An even bigger idea would have been "What car can I buy that is capable of actually going fast for less than 20K?" I would have rec'ed a Camaro or Mustang.

ok im sorry but please don't be stupid and get a supercharger its just not what hondas are ment for. they are ment for topend power, geting of the line might not be that big powerful pull you want but trust me once you get off the line you'll fly right past everything like no tommorow.i have a 90 ford t-bird super coupe(3.8L supercharged) gas guzler but geting of the line **** what a rush but thats not a honda. now my fiance's honda hatcht turbo **** not the same thrill of the line but topend power and speed is wow! just don't chose a supercharger not for hondas!!!!

what kind of racing do you plan on doing? Straight line i would go turbo. Autox go supercharger. You got to remember supercharger is belt driven turbo is air so it takes a lil longer to spool. But for hondas turbos work well. But if i were you i would go all motor cams header springs itbs.. your choice

like stated before depends on what your doing if its for the strip turbo but if its autocross go supercharger....turbo will have more options and is easily upgraded and will most likely have more gains than a supercharger although if you went supercharger you wouldnt have to worry about turbo lag and also lets say you only gain 30 hp but the thing is its 30hp throughout the whole power band while turbo is lets say 45 but its going to be past 4k rpm...so its all up to what your plans are for...if your p[lanning to race it on the street then id say dont do either cuz racing on the street isnt worth it

well if it is a daily driver do a supercharger but if it is for something other than a daily driver do a turbocharger. the reason being the supercharger is more reliable for daily driving because it runs straight off your engine which means less wear and tear on the supercharger whereas the turbocharger runs off your exhaust gas which has to use bearings and other components that if used during daily driving would eventually wear out. so if you are looking for the most cost efficient get the supercharger
