Hey,I was looking at a car a few days ago.It was a 1995 Honda Civic LSi 1.5 Coupe.The mileage is 110,000.It comes with 10 MOT and 6 months Tax.The car has been very well looked aftered.It has also been fitted with brand new 17" Alloy wheels and new Suspensition. He is asking for £1600.Is this a good price and how reliable are honda cars?What are the maintence costs like?

I'd never pay that for a used civic, but the asking price seems fair compared to what we see in my area. Just for reference, my friend bought a 95 Accord with 80k miles with small front end damage for $250 about 3 years ago.

Honda's are very very reliable cars and easy to maintain and keep. I think the price is a little on the steep side for the age and miles

no way ..that is about $3200.. and it is a $500 car at most

Very reliable cars.Can be a pig to fix and expensive.Not worth £1600 though tell him you will give him 900 tops!

Nice car, Hondas are generally reliable, but as with any car at 12 years and 110k miles, it could well be knackered, no matter how good it looks with its new alloys, and Hondas cost a bomb to fix.I also think it's too dear, I'd bid around £1000, and pay no more than £1200, but only if I was SURE it was in good condition.
