Default What's the diff between an Infiniti G35 vs G35x? & Accord EX vs EXL?

I'm getting confused. What's the difference? Are they basically the same or does one offer better features than the other?14 minutes ago - 3 days left to answer. Report It

The G35 has rear wheel drive, the G35x has all wheel drive. The Accord EX-L has all of the features included with the EX, plus leather (hence the "L"), and they also package a couple of other things with it, XM radio and dual climate control, I believe. Double check with Honda on that. Hope this helps.

The X means that it is all wheel drive on the infinity. The L means that the interior is leather and not cloth.

The "x" on the Infiniti G35 means that it is all wheel drive as opposed to rear wheel drive. It will be better in the rain and snow with all wheel drive, but it will be slightly slower and won't handle quite as well if driven to the limit on dry roads. (All wheel drive cars are heavier and tend to understeer/push more at their extreme handling limits than rear wheel drive cars do on dry pavement) The "L" on the Accord is just a trim-level designation (the car probably has some feature or equipment group not available in the EX). All newer Accords (at least in the U.S.) are front-wheel drive no matter what model.

The differences between these models is trim levels. Infiniti’s G-Series vehicles come in two very distinct versions—a 4-door sedan that features relatively sporty dynamics, and a 2-door coupe with very sporty dynamics and AWD (the x version). Such dynamic capabilities come from the fact that both cars are based on the sane rear-wheel-drive platform as the Nissan 350Z sports car. For 2007, the G35 coupe has a 293-hp V-6 engine, 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission, seating for 4, and a standard 6-disc CD changer with an optional 225-watt Bose system. The big news for 2007, however, is the sedan. As for your question about the Accord, Honda offers a wide array of Accords, with the sedan available in 9 trim levels and the coupe in 5. All come with dual-stage front air bags, front side air bags, side curtain air bags, anti-lock brake systems, and daytime running lights. Standard equipment also includes a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, an AM/FM stereo with CD player, power windows, and light-emitting diode (LED) instrumentation. All upscale EX models, such as the EX-L, add a 6-disc CD changer, alloy wheels, a power moon roof, and a power driver's seat with adjustable lumbar support. The EX-L , loaded with features, also carries a higher sticker price. For more comparisons, quality ratings, reviews and pricing informatiion about these models and more, please visit JDPower.com.
