scary thing; it may not be related to this..but then again it might.just a lil story =)me and my little sister & mother were on our way back from publix we were riding home when our truck started making weird noises..sounded like a flat tire so she told me to jump out and to check the wheels of wat i could see, the light had NO lights and it was pitch black so there was a car coming so i jumped back in and i was in the truck for about 5 seconds when the lugnuts & wheel poped off and the tire started running down the road and almost hit a car, we were stuck on a road that had no lights && we couldn move ANTWHERE;luckly we were going about 5 mph. my mother wanted to go regular 70 to hurry up and get home, but if she would of went 70 we would of died because we were just getting ready to turn a curve, now the truck is ruined and we cant drive it..at all/ we had to go get another car today.

Yes indeed, I would look right at the CV joint. That was my first thought when I read your question. The other guys analysis about the CV joint is also correct. Common issue w/ front wheel drive cars. G'luck!
