Where is the fuel filter located on a 99 Honda Civic?

Somewhere between the fuel tank and the carburetter.

^^^ i don't think that a 99 civic has a carburetor

on hte passenger side of engine compartment on the firewall about 8-10 in below the cowl -round-mounted in a bracket with 3 10mm bolts-loosen the fuel lines before you try to remove it ! use a good-fitting wrench or socket as they are very tight!!if you can't find it , then it's in the fuel tank as part of the fuel pump module-sorry,been awhile,can'tremember which end for sure but this sould narrow it down some!
