Question Need Help with choosing the right Muffler

Hi guys Im new here and this seems like a very helpful site.
I have a 2001 Honda Accord V6 4dr, and my question is:

What would be the best performance muffler for my car? And If I have to buy two mufflers cause my car is dual exhaust.

I've been looking around websites, doing my own research, but I still feel like I'm not sufficiently informed regarding what muffler(s) to buy.

Any Help and suggestions would be great!

i have the exact same car and actually just got exhaust for it.

it depends what your looking for/willing to spend

i was originally going to get just 2 mufflers but since its dual the mufflers would of had to be welded to the right place. and i dont have a welder so it would of cost me about 200-250 to have someone do it for me (plus the cost of the 2 mufflers which would of been about 100 each)

what i ended up doing was getting a full exhaust system from the catback which was completely bolt on for 300. i ended up saving about 100-150 and ended up getting a lot more out of it

let me know if you need any links anything and let me know how it comes out

Hello there, finally a response.
I am exactly in the same position as you, I would like to just bolt it on instead of welding cause of course, I don't have a welder.

Getting a full exhaust system for $300 sounds like my solution, because I've been looking around and looks like my only option is getting an exhaust system, and from the prices I see, It's like around $500-700 and another 100-200 for the installation. I'd rather go your way hehe.

It would be great if you could give me some links on where you bought your exhaust. It would also be cool if you post some pics or some audio of it on your car ^_^.

Thanks in advance!

eBay Motors: V6 HONDA ACCORD 1998+ DUAL EXHAUST CONVERSION (item 270190399956 end time Nov-28-07 09:30:04 PST)

thats pretty much what i got, and yes on ebay, great price, and looks good.

theres some pictures on that site of it on an accord, looks really good and very easy to install

if that page expires just type in on ebay: [01 accord v6 exhaust] and it should come up

and if you want ill post some pics of it on my car once i get my camera back

Yaay! Thanks for the reply, I just bought that Exhaust system. Omg how much money I'm saving! I'm glad you helped me out kr3w45.

Now all I need to do is to install my cold air intake, pair it up with the exhaust, and buy new headers and I'll be happy for now. Thanks a bunch! Ill post pics once I get my Exhaust sometime next week.

I'll keep you updated.
