will a 1.7 liter sohc engine bolt up to a transmission that had a 1.7 liter sohc vtec...
...engine in a 2002 civic? both engines are out of 2002 honda civics but one is a vtec and the other is not and its for an automatic transmission also

Yes it will bolt up. All of the D17 parts are interchangeable.
