Default so what exactly do i have to change to put a 1.5 engine in my 1999 civic DX?

i need to get an engine back in my car, i have allready completed one honda engine swap, but now i blew my engine. what do i have to change to put a 1.5 from a 1992 -1995 in my 1999 civic coupe. and please dont just tell me i should go buy a VTEC because i cant afford it. thus the 1.5 idea, i have a ECU and so on, what else will i need will it just bolt in or do the plugs match up, what about the manifold, is it in the same place or would i have to move my exaust? are the engine mounts compatible i would buy a whole donor car.. oh yea since i live in vermont there are no emissions so this is not an issue.

That's not fair, there should be emissions in Vermont.

you would have to do an obd2 to obd1 conversion. itll cost a couple hundread for the harness and ecu. its a complete waste of money, why not replace the engine with a 99 dx engine?

Jesus, do it the easy way...Don`t listen to the people posting above.RE-USE your OBD2 intake manifold and ECU...just replace the block and it will run fine!
