Here is the internal document that I recieved from Honda. Please note that it is dated May 2001. So i guess this light dimming issue has been happening on Honda Accords for some time now.

Doesn't make it right. Surely to goodness Honda could have figured out something by this time. According to this document this situation has been occuring since the early nineties!! Interesting as this is my fifth Honda and i have never experienced this phenomenon!!

I have tried to attach the document but cannot tell for sure if it actuall got attached!!

I am having all kinds of problems uploading the SHOP TALK document to this forum. THe document is 309 Kb and this forum only allows 19.7 Kb.

anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

Hi everybody I'm new here , and i have the same problem , i'm about to go to my dealer this week i had enough of this light dimming , i was driving to SD on the long weekend and it got me insane because most of my driving was at night i live in illinois so its a 11 hour drive ,what do you think i should say to the dealer to get this fixed , this is my firs honda and im very diappointed i think i will return to ford again and what can we do about this is there a class action law suit for this or something , i know that there is one for breaks , but my breaks are ok

Marty, I have a copy of a Honda Bulletin that tells the technicians "how" to tell the customers that the dimming lights are normal.

If you would like to contact me directly I will get a copy of the bulletin to you.

Honda Canada will not do anything about this issue and my warranty is finished this July on my 2008 Accord.

I really wish that we could get a class action lawsuit going but it seems that this only happens on 4 cylinder Accords. Is your vehicle a 4 Cylinder model?
