My 85 Accord, 1.8 (w/carburetor) always dies when I take my foot off the accelerator after it reaches warm up. I suspect a vacuum leak but I can not see any obvious hoses open, disco'd, etc. Has anyone else had a similar problem?
Also have a fuel pump that's going out. Acting like there is intermittent power to it as the fuel flow stops shortly after starting the motor. It will start after a few (10 - 40 actually) key bumps and run fine for a day or two. I am assuming the pump is about to go. Any input guys??? Thanks. -Charles in Colorado |
