I have a 2001 Accord, with factory alarm and remote locking. Lately I have an odd problem. As it has gotten colder, I find that first thing in the morning, the remote does not unlock the doors (tried both remotes, same result). If I unlock the front passenger door with the key, instead of unlocking all doors, as it normally would, only the front passenger door unlocks, and as soon as I open it, the alarm goes off. I can deactivate the alarm by using the key in the driver door, and as soon as I do that, the central locking and all other door locks and the remote start working. Sometimes, using they key in the driver door does not get the central locking etc working right away either...it starts working when I start the car. I suspected a weak battery, but what doesn't add up is that the car starts on the first turn of the key, and I had the battery tested, and it is still OK (little below optimal charge). If it were actuators etc, I would expect the problem not to go away all day...but yet it does.

Any thoughts - I don't want to pay the dealership to investigate a problem that I only see in my driveway first thing in the morning.
