I recently purchased a 1997 civic si with an aftermarket jdm d15b engine in it. I wanted to add a performance exhaust system, so I went through Magnaflow. I ordered model number 15646 which they say is meant for 96-00 Honda Civic Ex or Si. However, perhaps out of error, I believe I was sent model number 15642, which is meant for 96-00 Dx or Lx, at least that's what the label on the box says. Could anyone tell me what the difference is if any between those models and my Si in terms of the exhaust system?

Will the product I received be able to be mounted properly on an Si? I'm thinking no since they have specific products for specific car models, the one I ordered being a little bit more expensive than the one I received. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well iceman8598 I have the magnaflow 15646 just installed and I just love it, they are cheaper on ebay but I wanted a warranty(salt in winter kills an exhaust) so I got it here magnaflow 15646, or you can try one of the vendors here, they are always running sales/specials. either way its a great system and very easy to install. post pics here when you get yours installed too
