Hi i'm about to buy a Honda civic 96 DX coupe. Is $1300 Worth it for a 96 Civic DX coupe? its automatic transmission and has 170K miles. It has minor dents that i can get all repaired for $200. Other then that its in perfect condition. Also can i install a cd player and sound system in it? and how much would that cost for a aftermarket cd player/sound system on average?Also can anyone give me basic information on the 1996 Civic DX Coupe!Thanks In Advance!

well the civic dx coupe was the lightest model i think out of the civics, or was it the civic hx? the civic dx doesnt come with power windows or door locks but comes with power steering. 1300 is a good price for it, on kelly blue book they said it should be worth around 3000- 3500 depending on its condition. make sure the car is not a salvage title, meaning it hasnt been in a accident. yes you can install a aftermarket deck and speakers, a deck will be from 60- 400 depending on how nice you want it to be, speakers are gonna be cheap wonst cost you too much, as far as the car its reliable, make sure it runs good, check it throughlly, make sure it has no leakso yea far as some basic info , your car has 106hp and 103 ft lbs of torque, its a 1.6 liter inlie 4 engine, you will get good gas mileage from it

no, dont buy it. thats too much milage. even though its a honda nothing lasts for ever.
