I have a Honda Civic Bulldog Yr 93. I want to change the exhaust system so that i get the low rumbling sound of sports car. I want to know what type of exhaust to buy and how to get it replaced.Thank you.

i have a greddy sp2 exhaust and its a nice throaty sound i love it. i also have a friend who bought a apexi ws2 for 400 bucks off of istoreparts.com and its tight.

All you need to do is put a hole the the muffler.

lol NO to the hole idea.. you'd loose back pressure.. but the apex is a good one.. its what a freind of mine went with and sounds good.. should keep it around 2 inchs.. no more then 2 1/2...

hahahaha you're going to have to change to a whole new car, you're out of luck with the civic. Just take the muffler off-that's cheapest beeeoootttttcccchhhhh

The whole point of getting a better exhaust is to release back pressure. hondas are made for horsepower and not torque so just buy a cat back exhaust with large diameter exhaust piping.

if you want a nice sound i say get a new header, change piping to 2.25 all the way back resonator and either magnaflow or flowmaster 60 series muffler...your choice for a cat with a cat it'll be quieter...you dont need to spend a lot of money just go to a muffler shop they'll do it for you
