Does one of the air flow positions control light have to be on? I turned off the air amount knob to the off position, but I cannot turn off the indicator that shows where the air comes from (meaning like from the floor or from the dashboard)

I think it always stays lit. Mine does that also. Oh and you can't push the Max A/C button or the A/C button unless the knob is off "off". I always get that confused.

yeah, one of those lights always stay on. Nothing you can do about it. I own a 2007 civic too.

Dang, this is the only thing that drives me up the wall. Poo, maybe I'll stick a post-it note over it, lol.
