Not every car is the same even if they are the same model. The 1990 accord may have been taken care of a lot better than the '94. And the '94 may have been manhandled in the past. Sometimes, 2 brand new cars of the same model don't even sound/feel the same.

The older modles are low HP than the newer but the Engines intake more air whitch produces better performance. My friend had a 1992 Ex automatic trans coupe, that out ran an Integra 1.8 DOHC on the highway the only engine mods were intake, spark plugs and exhaust.Running 140 MPH easy. this is a non- vtec motor.
