Default adding nitrous can i get a little help please?

my 95 civic has an h22a swap with a short ram intake. i want to add a concealable nitrous kit. the edelbrock system is a 20 shot and the nitrous express is a 50 shot. will either of them damage my engine.is there any parts i need before i can install them.

You have to be sure your system is set up according to instructions... engine damage will only be incurred if your fuel enrichment is not set up properly... the nitrous creates LOTSof extra oxygen in your engines combustion chamber and the fuel must be added to maintain a rich enough mixture so you don't melt down the pistons... do watch for nitrous lag... this occurrs after you let off of the funny button and the car still wants to get it on for another second or two.. it is a strange feeling at first.. good luck

not if you do it correctly. Make sure you don't go above 50 shot, or you will be in trouble.here some preliminary steps:make sure you get a compression test to see that your engine is good.make sure your engine is not burning to much too much oil, or that can lead to ignition and blow up the enginemake sure your spark plugs are 2 ranges colder than your stock plugs.
