I'm going to purchase a Honda prelude. but before i do, a lot of these little wannabe racers are saying that automatic transmissions are no good. I do not drive fast, i'm not buying a prelude to race, i'm not into car modifications. I just like the style of the prelude and enjoy it for what it is. Now im going to buy an automatic. before I get my feet wet, is there anything I should know about this car. 5th gen prelude.Thanks guys!

No. A Honda Prelude is not a reliable car.

its pretty reliable, you shouldnt have any problems with it, even though its an auto lude its still nice

as far as there A/T trans , there wasn't too many problems with that trans. not like the 98-01 Accord with the V6 A/T. you will be fine. ask for all the maintence records from that vehicle. run vin number thru car-fax , if vehicle was in a wreck etc.....
