That COULD be a good car! I would not avoid buying it at all.. it may run a lot longer if it has been cared for. I would make sure the timing belt has been replaced at least once. Ask for a reciept. They have an interference motor which means if the belt breaks while it is running, then the engine is toast. No matter what, it is worth it to have a qualified mechanic inspect the car and tell you what is wrong with it before you buy it. Make sure they do a compression test as part of the inspection so you know if the engine still has good power or has any eminent major problems. A little $ invested in making sure it is the right car could save you a lot of $$ later!
