I just bought a 2005 honda accord (25,000 miles) and I just wanted to know if anyone out there has heard anything bad happening with these cars or if there is anything that I should be aware of.....thanks so much!

all i can say that if your accord has be maintain good than you should have nothing to worry about and beside its only 25k miles on it i wouldn't worry about it. try get a carfax history about your accord and see if it was involve in accident or any major kind of problem second you didn't mention the amount you pay for the accord so if you paid from 1$5000 to $27000 i will say you are getting a better deal or if you paid $13000 and least then consider on by a carfax history on your car and just for now keep maintaining your car. it will last longer I got the 2002 CRV with 21000 when i buy two and half years ago and until now i haven't done any mechanical problem and it is near 60000 miles. so consider this. Honda built a reliable car that can last you longer.

I'm still driving my 1990 Honda Prelude 2.0S and it's got over 250,000 miles and runs just fine so your Accord (@ 25,000 miles) is just broken in!However, Hondas do need regular care and they post that care in their owner's manual. If the car didn't come with one, you can get a new one at www.helminc.com.Whenever you buy a used car you should try to get all the maintenance reciepts or records with it. If you didn't get any such proof that the recommended servicing was done, assume it wasn't done and do it. With only 25K on the odometer you will find you don't have that much maintenance to do to get you up to date but do what they say in the owner's manual and you will be much happier in the long run.Good luck!

i've seen a lot of audio displays going bad, and on some (2.4l 4cylinder) the exhaust cam wasn't hardend properly and it has premature wear. the good thing is the audio display is covered under an extended warintee as for the exhaust cam, hopefully you purchaced the extended warintee, the average cost for repair on that is well over 600 $ just for parts but i have only seen this on vehicles with over 60,000 miles so... good luck
