Default I have a 1995 Honda Accord that needs an airbag module, can I use one from another year?

I have a module from a 1994, but it has two socket and the 1995 only has one socket. If anyone has used a 1994 on a 1995 let me know how to do mine.

according to the honda service manuals for 1994 and 1995 the air bags should be the same; both have a short red connector from the airbag to the cable reel; that connector should have one red and one white wire (two wire connector).by the service manual pictures the air bag modules should be identical and have the same part nuimbers. You definitely do not want to use anything but the direct replacement and you do not want to modify any wiring to try to adapt whatever you have to try to make it work. You're taking a big risk with your safety both trying to do the install mods and driving the car with a potentially loaded weapon in front of you.check with your honda dealer to get the correct part number for the airbag you need. You can usually get cross-reference information from junk yards as to what air bags fit what cars but the 94 and 95 are the same from the service manual pictures. you can also check with body shops for cross reference and part number information to make sure you get the right one.hope that helps

It all depends if you have a 4cyl or 6cyl. You need to confirm the part number of the original module from your car. Example 77960-sv4-a72. The part is located under the radio.

Good Luck

Airbag Replacement
