Default Thinking on a motor upgrade for my 92-95 hatchback!?

i have been thinkin about a swap with my dc headers 4-2-1, aem cold air intake, apexi n1 exhaust thas all i have so far. people have been tellin me h22a but no power steering or a/c , others say d15b or d16z6 or y8 which i dont no where to find on any site with a sure price, others say a ls swap, others say a b16 or b18 alone, i have seen b18c but i really dont know, so to make it simple i have a spending limit to put under da hood i have already spent about 1200 with the headers intake and exhaust, i dont want to spend more than 3gz under da hood. what is the fastest possible setup with what i already have under the hood in order to make my car as fast as possible with 3gz i just want it fast for that money for meets maybe racing on streets not on tracks till a year or to. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

$1200 thats a tight budget for an engine like you said u just spend $1200 just to free up the motors breathing. But here is a site with a few honda jdm motors. You need to save up for a few months and go k20.

Dont get the K20, the swap will run close to $10,000. You basically cant use any parts that you have purchased on any of the good swaps for your car. The best swap for the money will be the B16a or B18c1. both are readilly available for about $1,500 and bolt in pretty easily. But you will have to sacrifice the header because it will not fit the B series block, the exhaust will fit but you will have to get a custom test pipe or catalytic converter made. THe cold air SHOULD fit but it might need a little motivation. The H22 is over-rated and pretty flimsy internally, while the B18C5 is close to $5,000 for the motor and tranny, and the K20 is in that price range also. Not to mention that with the K20, you need the K-pro tuning software, about $1,000, a $1,000 set of motor mounts, an aftermarket intake, and to do some fuel line movement.
