i hate feeding the stereotype, but i'm a girl and just now starting out with cars so i know next to nothing. i'm doing this mod myself because i want to eventually know how to do it all. if you answer, please give details, as i don't know names of parts or anything.. and please be nice =X i'm proud of my honda, i like the import race scene and i may be a girl but i also may be passing your slow ass on the road one day so remember that karma comes around =)i forgot to mention.. i'm not stopping at just intake, and my friend gave me the intake because he got a new one and never used this one.

I would think the thing would come with instructions unless you buy a POS. Why waste your money on it though?? It won't do that much for an old Honda. My slow *** can be seen in the car below, but I don't race Honda s*** boxes.

I don't think you'll be passing my Nova however the cold air intake install is pretty straight forward. Any kit you get should have simple instructions and once your under the hood you'll see the tubes and air box you'll need to remove and put cold air kit back in place. See ya( In my rear view mirror) later.

Don't let these over the hill men get you down Claudia. It is a simple but great beginning to the future mod of your Civic. You want to remove your stock Airbox and tubing all the way up to the throttle body. It's at the end of your intake manifold. Replace with your new intake. If this seems confusing ask your friend to show you how his is mounted or even have him mount it up so you will know in the future. There are many great communities for you to do research on your next modification. I believe www.honda-tech.com is a great start. Good luck

You probably won't see more than one horsepower gain. Nitrous, Forced induction, Big engine builds and swaps are the only thing that makes those cars fast. I swapped my 97 hatch with a mildy built b16 engine and could barely break into 14s. In the 92 - 95 civics engine swaps are cake. Incredibly easy to swap. I'd save for that =). You'd like it better. Takes a ton of money if you wanna go REAL FAST.
