Default can i fit a honda k20a motor in my 1999 hoda civic ex?

if so how whould i go about getting one

First yes it fits, you need speical motor mounts, wiring job from rywire.com, and custom fuel setup answer all your Q's K20a.org

yeah but you would spend about $10,000 for all the parts and labor. You can buy a 99-00 Civic Si B16a and drop it in, build it for low compression, then turbo it and have 150 more HP for LESS than the K20 swap.

The k20a has not been fully cracked to run most after market parts yet. Due to the ECU . I know Kpro makes a system for the RSX system though, it is not cheap. So I wouldn't entirely recommend it quite yet. You would be better off running the b18c1 (GSR) or most any b series motor. Although your stock motor will weigh 200lbs less than any other motor you want to put in. If you have any hopes off taking it to a track keep that in mind. Anyways, your local auto dismantler may have access to a k20a. I am not sure about east coast check google. But on the west coast we use www.hmotorsonline.com.
