accord less for insurance...but thay are both good cars...once you go to a 2 door you get hit hard so try to stick to a 4 door at first.

A accord is just a higher class of car than the civic. Over all a better car, not saying the civic isn't good cause it is. But you can get a civic for cheaper but the retail on the accord will be better when you go to sell. If it was my choice I would get the accord. You are also buying for a 18 year old, is this a first car? Cause if so you might go with the civic, but if its for your kid going to college or grad. present go with the accord.

I think the accord is better because it's got more room,more powerfull engine and it look better.

I have a 02 2 door accord and I love it.The only setbacks are its expensive on insurance because its considered a sports car and I have a v6 thats uses ALOT of gas.I have 153000 kilometers on it and have never had any problems.
