i have a 99 civic coupe and the passenger seat is not sliding forward or backwards at the same time with the seats going up. it stopped sliding couple months ago and it is annoying me because of people that needs to get to the back seats. I had to pull the lever to make the seat go up and then pull the lever to have the seats slide. the lever to slide would not bring the seat up at the same time. Before when i pull the sliding lever it would also bring the top of the seat up. I was wondering why it does not do it anymore. anyone have an idea of what is wrong and how i can fix it. thanks

Look under the seat, the spring slipped off the lever catch.

Same thing happened to me so what i did was i looked at the driver seat one and the passanger seat i noticed the wire broke. when u pull the lever the wire gets pulled sorta like a pulley system it unlocks the track and allows u to slide ur seat. now it may have just came unhooked in this case just hook it back on, but it the wire broke use a wire hanger to replace it thats what i did i had to bend the hanger till it broke into the size i wanted ever since it works perfect and now people dont have to squeeze in the back seat lol good lucklet me know if u need mmore help
