Default Is it a good idea to port and polish my 2000 civic si ?
my civic is stock but i am goin to buy an aem cold air intake and an greddy headers. Or should i wait to get the intake and headers.

Don't waste your time or money on any of that stuff. It's a Honda.The only difference you will notice is a big empty spot in your wallet.

Go ahead if you want. But remember, there is always someone out there who will beat you in a race. Frankly, unless you have the money, find a different hobby. Theres always Scooter tuning...It`s cheap too!

definatly not at this point. any type of machining work is $$$$$. You could upgrade you fuel system and get a small turbo kit for the price of a good port, polish and port match. start with the header and intake and save up for a good starter turbo kit. a port and polish is one of those fine touches you don't really need until you are typing to get to that next level after having built your engine.
