My honda accord v6 is approaching 80,000 miles and just got the 1st hint of trouble ever. On lower speeds if I depress the accelerator pedal, sometimes there is a delayed response and then a nasty jerk. I have heard of this problem in the model. What is it? Is it the timing belt? Or is the transmission going? Will have to end up replacing the entire transmission ?

Have you ever had the tranmission serviced?? Your transmission filter and fluid probably need to be changed. Does it sound like your engine is reving and then you get the nasty jerk? If so your transmission is probably slipping for a moment and then hitting the gear. Take it to a shop and have a mechanic take a look at it.
