There is a problem with your electrical system. If your alternator is failing and you are running on battery power your car may suddenly quit working in the middle of the freeway when the battery finally gives out. I suggest you get it to the mechanic ASAP.

If your battery light is flashing you probably have either a low battery or your alternator is failing. I suggest you go by a parts store and have them test it before you get somewhere that it doesn't start.

check you're sensors or better yet check your alternator because sometimes you re power steering pump might spill out oil that might cause your alternator to be damage

If the battery light comes on or flashing when the engine running, the alternator is no good.Period.

Before you go running to the parts store and spending all that money uselessly clean your battery posts. If they are corroded the alternator can not recharge your battery. good luck

Or, if any of these previous suggestions don't work, make sure you replace the alternator with a HONDA-SPECIFIC alternator. A generic alternator will work fine for the first couple of days, and then the battery light will come back on again.
