Try replacing the light bulb in your brake light, it will suck when you get a ticket for having a brake light out because you didn't try common sense

You just have a bad bulb.Rear lamps often use a dual-filament bulb - one filament for brakes and turn signals, and the other for running lights (the ones that go on with your headlights). The running light filament is what flashes when you hit your remote. Your bulb has one burned out filament. Replace it and you should be fine.Edit: a later answerer said it was the fuse. It isn't. A blown fuse would affect all the brake lights, not just the left side. So don't waste your time on that.

go to a auto repair store like auto zone or advanced auto parts. they may be able to answer your question better and help get to the bottom of your problem.

The Brakes fuse in your vehicle's fuse box is messed up. Go to Autozone or some car shop to get that checked out and perhaps replaced. If at all, it shouldn't cost much($1-$20)If it's too much, get a friend or family to do it.

It's the light bulb, go buy a $2 bulb.
