Default 2001 honda civic lx tranny?

Ok.. i finnally took my car to the shop and they told me that i might need new solenoids because its slipping. How much are they? Does anyone know if this is common. thanks

Oh, no no no, take your car to a Honda Dealer. You really don't want to spend your money twice. Only Honda knows your car well enough to do the job right! It might cost a little more but it's better to pay it now then pay them again later!Honda Quality costs, so just pay and you'll be safe from break downs later!!! I told you so!

Solenoids run $300 for the part and labor.
