Default 2007 Honda CRV problem?

i just bought this car not 2 months ago and everything has been running fine. But today, i was going into work and pressed the button to lock the doors (from my key) and nothing happened. I pressed the panic button and again nothing happened. The only thing that works is the button to "unlock" the doors.Has this happened to anyone else? and if so what do i need to do to fix it?thanksalso i have 2 sets of remote keys and neither of them work. Both can only "unlock" the doors

Try unscrewing it and making sure theres no gunk or dirt inside . Then replace the battery . Good Luck Henga !Also check your manual for the car . You might have accidently presses some safety mechanism that stops you from locking your keys inside the car or something . Maybe on of you fuses burned out for locking the doors .

sounds like you have a bad remote. look on the remote and press the lock button, do you see the lil red light light up? do this with all the buttons, see if there is a diffrence. check your other key, does that one lock the doors, if not you may just need the keys reprogramed to your vehicle, i would suggest taking it to the dealer concidering that it is a new car, your keyless entry system is covered under warrinty, including your keys/remotes. I checked on the service website and i didn't find anything about the keyless having any issues so hopefully it is just that you have a bad keyless remote and they will replace it. also, it could be the area you are in, i know that there are areas where i am at that people have the exact same problem and it is dependant on the area they are in (due to t.v. towers, cell phone towers ect.) Hope this helps

This kind of problem does not usually happen to a brand new car! Especially an expensive car. Take it back to the dealer and get them to look at it. The batteries should not be dead, they have a shelf life of 2 years!!! Why are they giving you 2 year old batteries on a brand new car? Sounds like Honda is cutting corners. Go and get your money's worth! You work hard for it!
