There is a Honda Civic Type R out for sale in Europe and Japan but not in the USA. In the US the performance model of the Civic is called the Civic SiIt can be found in either coupe or sedan form which makes it practical for all people. Plus, the 21k pricetag makes it pretty affordable

Theres not a car named "type-r" but there the model of the car. Like the Integra RS, LS, SE, GS, GS-R etc. Just the trim. The Type-R is considered top of the line in some contries and is really top of the line. There rare and specially tuned for racing.Honda/Acura Integra Type-R DC2Honda Civic Type-R HATCHHonda/Acura NSX Type-RHonda Accord Type-RHonda Accord Euro R (Acura TSX) Honda/Acura Integra Type-R DC5 (RSX-R)-------------------------------------------------------------Mazda/Savanna RX-7 Type-R FD3STheres plenty more, but there is the type-S and O in the US and other countries. Almost the same as an R, just a few less horses and torque. Also the redline is diffrient by a few.

Most all the type R's are relevant to Honda or Acura, but however I do believe that there are a couple of other makes that use Type R on the side...
